Book an AppointmentImportant Information About Online Psychological Counselling
-
Please be aware that my online psychological counselling service does not involve clinical diagnoses and is not a substitute for psychotherapy as defined by clinical or statutory regulations. Licensed psychotherapy typically requires face-to-face contact with an approved practitioner who establishes a formal diagnosis prior to commencing treatment.
-
If you are in an acute mental health crisis, please reach out to your GP or a licensed psychiatrist or psychotherapist in your area. Outside regular hours, contact your local emergency medical service or the crisis helpline available in your country. In life-threatening emergencies, please call emergency services immediately.

About Me
The person behind the practice.
The person behind the practice.
People sometimes wonder whether a psychologist truly follows her own advice. For me, the answer is a wholehearted yes. Alongside my work as a speaker, expert, and entrepreneur, I am deeply committed to women's health — but I also know when it is time to step away and recharge.
Self-care is not a luxury; it is the foundation of everything I do. So while you might spot me at MentalStark, on a TED Talk stage, or behind a podcast microphone, you are just as likely to find me enjoying a quiet morning in a Frankfurt cafe, hiking by the lake, or carving through fresh powder on a snowboard. The photo here captures one of those restorative moments — sunshine, sea air, and a clear mind ready for whatever comes next.

Podcaster
Speaking up about what matters — that is what drives me. As a passionate voice for women's health, I challenge stigma, dismantle misconceptions, and bring honest conversations into the open. Currently, I do this as both psychologist and host of the Kinderwunschzeit (Fertility Journey) podcast, created in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs.
Each episode features medical professionals, counsellors, and individuals sharing their real-life experiences. I ask the questions that often go unasked, and together we seek genuine answers. Curious to listen? There is something there for everyone. And if you are a professional or expert who would like to join me as a guest, I would love to hear from you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I book a session right away?
Absolutely. I have open slots for new clients seeking online psychological counselling. Feel free to schedule your complimentary introductory call whenever you are ready — there is no pressure and no commitment required.
How do I know if your approach suits me?
The best way to find out is through a brief, free introductory conversation. Within those first minutes, most people already sense whether the dynamic feels right.
I deeply value both your time and mine, so if the fit does not feel natural, that is completely fine — honesty benefits us both.
Here is a glimpse of what working with me looks like:
I place great importance on curiosity and a willingness to look at familiar situations from a fresh angle. Equally, I recognise that some circumstances are not within your control, and in those moments, my role is to help you build resilience and self-compassion.
My work is rooted in cognitive behavioural principles — we will explore your emotional landscape together, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and gently reshape them.
Above all, I am committed to providing a genuinely safe and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.
Will my health insurance pay for online counselling sessions?
Online psychological counselling is a private service and is generally not reimbursed by public or statutory health insurance. Insurance providers typically only fund treatment when a formal clinical diagnosis has been established.
If clinical treatment is what you need, that would be carried out within a licensed psychotherapy practice. My counselling service is designed for personal growth, emotional support, and navigating life challenges — and operates outside that clinical framework.
Do you work with young people or children?
My practice is focused entirely on adults. Whether you are in your twenties or well into retirement, I offer individual counselling, couples counselling, and group sessions tailored to where you are in life.
When can I expect to notice a difference?
Some clients experience a meaningful shift after just one conversation, while for others the process unfolds more gradually. Every person arrives with a unique set of experiences, so there is no single timeline that applies to everyone. What I can tell you is that the more openly you engage — both during and between our sessions — the more quickly progress tends to follow.
I see counselling as a genuine partnership. Your honest feedback guides our work together and ensures that every session brings real value to your life. At the close of each meeting, we will agree on a practical next step that feels right for you.
What is the typical duration and frequency of sessions?
A standard session lasts 50 minutes. Most clients find a weekly rhythm works well, though some topics benefit from meeting more often. We will tailor the frequency together based on your needs and what feels sustainable for you.
Where can I find information about fees?
All pricing details are laid out clearly on my Pricing page. I believe in full transparency, so you will know exactly what to expect before we begin.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and I understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please send me an email as soon as possible — ideally with at least 3 hours' notice. I would also recommend checking my online calendar straight away to pick a new time that works for you. I am happy to be flexible and find a solution together.
What actually happens during a counselling session?
Our sessions are a space for you to speak freely about whatever is weighing on you — no topic is off limits. I listen with full attention and genuine care.
My style is warm yet purposeful. From time to time, I may pose thoughtful questions that gently challenge your perspective — not to unsettle you, but to open doors you may not have noticed before.
Together, we will look at how certain thinking habits and behavioural patterns may be shaping your relationships, your self-image, and your overall sense of well-being. Along the way, I will share observations and insights designed to deepen your self-awareness and help you chart a clearer path ahead.
